FYI, reloading the app was not solving the problem. I had to logout and log back in to solve it.

I use the scroll-wheel of my mouse or touch-pad of my laptop. I am assuming they both did not work and the chat history refused to scroll down?

I have to replicate it first. Lets see what happens

I could scroll manually. It just wasn't scrolling down automatically, like it does in other Circles.

Converse sometimes does that. After a few seconds, it jumps down to bottom and sometimes it does not. It is difficult to reproduce it and get the logs to debug it. I shall watch out for it.

As a work-around, we could provide a toolbar icon to jump to the bottom like this.

I'm not sure about the extra button. We want to keep the interface as slick and simple possible.

After a chat with @alexandre on this, we decided to close this for now: the issue has not occured again. Let's move forward on #405 (moved) and see if this problems occurs again with the chose solution. If yes we will reopen this one, but the priority is #405 (moved) first
