UX improvements needed on chat history loading

First of all, I want to say Bravo! for the improvements made on the history loading of the chat. It is a hundred times better than it used to be. Well done, it is really appreciated.

Now here is how it is today:

I see two things that are not right, and they lead to some users thinking the history is inaccessible, although it is:

1. No loader to indicate we are fetching something, and that it has arrived
2. We're scrolled to the very top once more history has been loaded, therefore we can't scroll upwards anymore, and so we have to scroll back down a bit and then upwards again to be able to load more history. I should have some scrolling margin left to keep on scrolling upwards and load more history

I'm loving having this discussion. We're diving into subtle UX details. That's really good news.
