Making it easier to contact someone

I feel it should be more straightforward to send a message to another user.

A few suggestions that would probably improve the user experience in my point of view:

• keyboard shortcut to access the user list filter
• possibility to hit Enter after the filter
• clearance of the filter after a hit
• possibility to reduce the circle list so that I only have 1 list open

• most recently contacted people first in list when filtering

• notification badge on "MESSAGES" (number of people who sent me a message)
• push notifications on my phone
• maybe have the picture of the people in the list, so that I identify my contact more quickly
• when I start typing, the focus should go on the text input box, even if it was not already there
