Performance and Load Testing for CQCM Portal

Description:

We need to perform performance and load testing on the CQCM portal to ensure it can handle both expected user traffic and large volumes of data.

Objectives:

Conduct performance and load testing on the CQCM Portal to evaluate its ability to handle:

• High user traffic (load scenarios)
• And more critically, increasing volumes of data, which is currently a major issue observed in some environments

The goal is 2 fold:

1. To identify any performance bottlenecks or system limitations, whether related to traffic or data size, and recommend necessary improvements.
2. To understand scalability of the system, so that we can ensure appropriate system sizing to deal with expected data and traffic volumes.

Scope:

• Simulate traffic scenarios for various load levels
• Test system performance under heavy data conditions (a realistic starting dataset would be 2,500 producers, and 100 products / producer.)
• Monitor key performance metrics:
  • API response times
  • Server and database load
  • Frontend rendering times
  • Memory and CPU usage
• Identify thresholds, limits, and curves in scalability

Deliverables:

• Summary report of performance and load test results
• Clear indications of anticipated performance and recommended server requirements for various data and traffic scenarios.
• Identified performance bottlenecks (if any)
• Suggested improvements or optimizations ?
