Assisted or self-upload of enterprise data via CSV
During the call on 21/07/2025 we discussed the CSV upload of enterprises, supplied products and enterprise addresses (#32 and #38).
Currently these views are restricted to staff users (of the proxy server), essentially just to avoid the subject of permissions on imported data by authenticated users and their rights for the v1.
Other than the questions of permissions and sign-up of enterprises for uploading their own CSVs, the other main concern is on usability, as many of these users won't be familiar with RDF or the DFC-B schema, and might have difficulty in creating the CSV and converting their own schemas to the DFC standard (a subject which can be a technically challenging).
We discussed exploration of using RAG-V models for error checking, and of providing (human) support to users during the upload.
We discussed a use case where once we have mappings in hand, we could automate the upload of CSV data to the proxy on behalf of the user, using CSV export functions from other platforms.
