Component that displays the number of notification for an object

Problem to solve

Users have no way to know when a new message is posted in channels (projects, groups or private message).

This makes the chat useless, because you have to search for new content in all channels one by one and maybe for nothing.

Proposal

Inform users of new content at a glance (with only one quick look) by having the names of channels with unread messages display in bold in left sidebar.

What does success look like, and how can we measure that?

When another user sends a message in a channel I have access to, the channel's name will be displayed bold until I enter the channel to read the latest content.

@matthieu do you think we can use the /notification_set/ of the object and let the permissions filter the notifications of the user only? It doesn't seem like the cleanest way to me.

Yes it makes more sense. The thing is that it makes the filter on the client side. I think it's ok if it's handled by the store. Otherwise we'll have all notifications stored by all components, which doesn't sound like a good idea.

Notifications should be filtered by object and not by type.

@matthieu can you add a new component in sib-notification that takes a data-src and displays the number of unread notifications there is on that object?

I think for now we can do it as you suggest, and keep in mind that the filtering should be handled by the store as soon as we have a new one.

The problem is that I can't filter by object because we need to filter by @id. We probably need startinblox/framework/sib-core#242 before

I don't understand why. Can't we have search-value-object?

Ah yes I didn't think it would work!

It has been deployed in a new version of sib-notifications (0.1.19).
